Went with my grown children. Weather front had come in for the week so water was a little rough. It made finding whales challenging. It was a rocking and rolling trip. Everyone was soaked in first 10 minutes. Amber and crew were amazing. Bring rain gear!! We had fun but not prepared for being soaked and cold. So bring a dry change of clothes left in car or a plastic bag!! We were also expecting fiberglass catamaran but got the aluminum catamaran instead which is lighter and bounced more.

We appreciate you sharing with us. Actually the smaller Cat, ‘Imiloa handles the waves pretty well, the winter months can be aggressive no matter. Aloha to you

We ventured out quite a bit, but ultimately found whales. It was lots of fun. We did get very wet and that was hilarious.

It was a very rough day on the sea. No fault of the captain and crew but it probably should have been canceled. We were expecting more of a quiet ride up the coastline spotting whales and other wildlife but what we got was full speed ahead up one side of the wave and crashing down on the other side with water crashing onto the boat and rap music playing at top volume. The captain and crew made the best of it and tried to keep everyone in good spirits but some of the people including my husband got really sick in spite of taking motion sickness medicine ahead of time. What I learned was to ask a lot more questions about what to expect before booking.

Our beautiful coast is very unpredictable this time of year. We try to please everyone, especially after we have all been ‘cooped up’ for so long. We appreciate you joining us and hope to see again some time. Take care
