Overall, it was a great experience. We booked the 12:00 tour, but we didn’t meet until 12:15 for the boat. After we pushed off at 12:30, we didn't return until almost 1500. Captain Paul and his deckhands, Lance and Josh, did an excellent job of keeping our drinks filled during the tour. There were no fancy snacks—just bags of chips and cookies—but we felt safe throughout the entire ride. We were fortunate enough to spot a mother whale and her calf. Just as we were about to leave, the captain suddenly stopped because a pod of four male whales began breaching the water, tapping their fins, and showing off. That was an incredible sight! While such encounters aren’t guaranteed on every tour, it was definitely a memorable experience. Thank you, Kauai Sea Tours, for a fantastic whale-watching adventure!

Our meet time was 3:00 and Captain gave a briefing at 3:15. 5 minute walk down to the marina. We saw a momma whale and her calf on our tour. We saw one jump up in the air and many breached and spouted too near us. Josh and Chad were great bartenders as well! Highly recommend - it was a lot of fun!

Captain and crew were very attentive, as well as focused on spotting for whales. We were able to see several times a mother whale and brand new calf. The listening equipment they had was pretty good. The captain stayed out longer than two hours, as we spotted a whale. A great way to spend a couple of hours.
