Our guide Vijay was knowledgeable and passionate about the house and history. My mother and I had the chance to stay in the house and we wanted to enhance the experience so we signed up for the Lore of the Land tour and were not disappointed. It's a fun experience with unique teas (which you can also purchase - I wanted the smokey one after that for sure!) and great stories. I highly recommend this experience, and I can only imagine the other tours are well worth checking out as well. Staying in the house was such a lovely experience as well, and I hope to return someday.

This house really transports you back in time. It is not a museum so you can actually touch things. I sat in the chair that the original owner brought over from England, 1667, now that’s history. Vijay did a excellent tour. He had tea to choose from for a glass of tea with the tour. I chose 1667 tea which has a smoky taste to it. It was delicious and so unusual. It was a wonderful experience.

Very informative history of not only the town of Salem, but of the Daniels House as well (one of the oldest houses in Salem, MA). Tea was included!
