The way they lived, so frugal without much inside light! Wow! Heating and cooling was near nonexistent. House was hot in summer and cold in winter. No wonder or ancestors were tough!!

Fascinating look into the distant past. The young man giving the tour was excellent, he did a great job of explaining the physical characteristics of the house as a structure and it’s function as a family home. Made you appreciate the modern technology we take for granted today.

We had such a great time in this gorgeous and beautifully preserved house. It was such a nice break from the dark history of Salem! Veejay is an amazing host, very engaging and made the visit really fun. Definitely recommend it:)
