While we won’t go inside, you’ll learn about this iconic 1912 courthouse, its role in Citrus County’s past, and its connection to famous figures like Elvis Presley. The museum, which offers free admission (closed Sundays and Mondays), showcases the county’s history and features rotating seasonal exhibits—making it a must-visit for those who want to explore more on their own before or after the tour. It’s the perfect starting point for a journey through Inverness, blending rich heritage with delicious flavors!

Liberty Park

We’ll continue our journey through downtown and make our way to the Depot District, a scenic waterfront area along Lake Henderson. This vibrant spot is home to the Depot Pavilion, the Farmers Market, beautifully refurbished train stations, and the famous 46-mile Withlacoochee State Trail, a favorite for cyclists and outdoor enthusiasts. It’s the perfect place to soak in the charm of Inverness while enjoying the local flavors on our tour!
