Totem Parks - View the largest collection of authentic and rare hand carved totem poles in North America. Featured at Saxman Native Village, Totem Bight State Park, Potlatch Park, and Totem Heritage Center. Nature Trails - Rainforest and beach walks/hikes; as well as bear and local wildlife viewing in natural habitats including coves, creeks, and beach settings. The best thing we did was book a private hummer tour. We had just over a half a day in Ketchikan and there were five of us. A cruise ship tour would have been more expensive and less personal. Duane was our driver; he was knowledgeable and a great guide for all ages (we had late teens through to their grandmother). We got some beautiful photos of Ketchikan and learnt a great deal about the area to boot.

Our driver Lee was awesome! He met us and asked us what we wanted to see. Then took it from there and easily adjusted when something he’d say got our attention. We saw a bear and four eagles on our first stop and he took us on a great hike as part of our time. I’d highly recommend this tour and Lee!!

This was a great tour. Our guide Shannon was awesome. She was friendly, personable and knowledgeable. She did the perfect tour for our group which ranged from 14 to 78. We saw waterfalls and totems, bald eagles. Took a short walk into a rainforest. We tried Salmon berries, huckleberries and some wild blueberries. The whole family agreed this was the best tour of the trip.
