Put them together with a little time hanging out on an island sipping cold drinks and munching on some fresh fruit and you will have one of the best days of your life.

This is the perfect activity for beginners or experienced snorkelers and paddlers. You don't even need to know how to swim. If you are feeling nervous while snorkeling just stand up. The crystal clear waters around the island are only about waist to chest deep. Plus we'll be there right by your side to teach and make sure you are safe and comfortable while in the water.

Of course the best part of snorkeling around the island is all the fish and wildlife you can see. Since the island is so close to a direct ocean inlet you can and will see many of the fish here that you would see out on the reef.

There is no bathroom available during the tour as we will be on a kayak/SUP. Bathrooms are available before and after tour.
The tour will go ahead whether or not there is rain, you will be notified if the tour is actually canceled by the time the tour begins.

Typically, a tour operator starts a tour explaining what is going to happen: "We will go from this boat to another and then do this activity and then this". They did not explain anything, just pointed us to the next thing. We were so confused. On the 2nd boat, they said to put our valuables in a box. Then we were on a kayak with no return to the boat until the end. So...we didn't have our cameras because now they were in the box. They could have said "put anything you don't want to take with you on the island in the box". There was no snorkeling on this Beginner Friendly Snorkeling Tour. Due to weather? Who knows? No explanation. That said, the locations were beautiful and we loved interacting with the raccoons on the island. There was a random visitor, not on our tour, who told us more about how the raccoons came to be there. Our tour guide said nothing and left us to go look for coconuts.

This is a scam. I never received any snorkeling instruction, and the only thing I saw was a dirty bandaid. Absolutely not a snorkeling trip. The owner was unresponsive and never called me back. The trip consisted of a kayak trip to an island filled with trash and raccoons even though it was called “Beginner Snorkeling Trip.” A waste of money and time! I was only in Miami for two days, and the one thing I wanted to do was snorkel.
