Mori taught us how to hold chopsticks and the intricacies of Japanese etiquette while we enjoyed preparing and eating a ramen appetizer followed by preparing and eating a curry stew with rice. It was all new to me and absolutely delicious. We followed up the appetizer and main dish with cake she prepared in a rice cooker. I think the trick to making this a wonderful experience is booking with a fun group.

My girlfriend and I had a great time. We learned to cook 3 entrees and one dessert. Mori sensei also made us some delicious Miso Soup. Mori sensei was very funny and lighthearted and made everyone feel comfortable throughout the experience. She not only taught us how to make each dish, but provided some knowledge behind the ingredients and the historical context for them as well. I learned that she offers various cooking classes so I will definitely be booking again in the future.

Learned new cooking techniques along with proper etiquette when using chopsticks. The food was tasty. Now we have suggestions for brands and types of food to look for at the specialty grocery store.
