Our most popular Jeep tour, this historic sight-seeing adventure is a great way to enjoy the Pikes Peak region!!! Our entertaining and informative cowboy guides take you through time along the foothills of Pikes Peak, highlighting scenery and some of Colorado Springs’ most famous historical sights. Attractions include North Cheyenne Canyon, Helen Hunt Falls, the Shortline Railroad and its 100-year-old tunnels, Old Colorado City, Manitou Springs, and the spectacular red rock park Garden of the Gods. In our open-air Jeeps, your photo opportunities are unobstructed!!! This tour is approximately 70% paved roads and 30% dirt, and is a fantastic overview of the area!!!

Prairie Dog shared alot of history with us about mining, railroading, and the development of Colorado City and Colorado Springs. The Broadmoor, Cheyenne Mtn, Manitou Springs and Garden of the Gods were great. The tour was very enjoyable with lots of stops for pics. The price point was reasonable for the amount of time and info shared together. Very enjoyable! I suspect it would be enjoyed by kids too.

After hunting for something to do (besides hiking) at Garden of the Gods, we took the jeep tour on a whim and it was awesome!! Our amazing guide and driver, Huckleberry was VERY knowledgeable and we genuinely enjoyed the whole ride! It was 90 minutes of amazing scenery and cool stories. It was well worth the money to take the trip and I would reccomend it to anyone who wants to see the mountains and the inner corners of Colorado Springs.

What a spectacular afternoon we had with our guide, Rounder. We lucked out on this tour as it was just the three of us. Rounder's ease of storytelling - mixing nuggets of old town life with reputable historical data - was entertaining and attention grabbing. On occasion he tossed in a few anecdotes applicable to our Boston home and we so enjoyed the repartee. The drive was fabulous, and coming from this writer who is terrified of heights, being 10k feet up in an open air Jeep, hugging a narrow mountain side road without guardrails speaks volumes about the expertise of the driver and his ability to impart a sense of wonder and comfort for his two passengers. The mountain drive was truly breathtaking; the waterfalls and cliff rocks well positioned to inspire. Our drive into the Garden of he Gods provided an up close view of some of the best of nature's natural landscaping, and the names and stories were descriptive and memorable. Even our drive into Manitou Springs held surprises as we sampled two of the waters available for public consumption out of the original springs for which the town is named. I especially liked the natural effervescence - it reminded me of being introduced to Vichy in Saratoga Springs as a child! If you are interested in a tour like this, please check out this group.
