I took my dad here when he was visiting Dallas and was quite surprised. I originally thought this tour would be a guided walk around Dealey, the memorial, and the museum, but it was so much more. It was a rainy day. There was a van waiting for us at the memorial to take us to Dealey Plaza. Soon after entering the van I found out we would actually be retracing the steps of the individuals involved in the day of the assassination. This included retracing the initial motorcade and Oswaldā€™s steps after everything happened. The van made stops at Oswaldā€™s boarding house (and we went inside the untouched home), Dealey Plaza, the Oak Cliff area, the theater, Tippit shooting place, and more. The guide was very pleasant and knowledgeable. The trip ended at the museum and tickets were supposed to be included, but they were sold out that day, so they offered us a refund for the museum tickets or a booking at the museum the following morning. At this point, since we had already been driving around on the tour for a few hours and had really enjoyed it, we opted for the refund of the tickets because we were catching an early flight the following day. All in all, I highly recommend this tour. It was very active, educational, and fun.

If you have even the slightest interest in JFK and you are in Dallas, then this tour is a must. Our guide, Preston, led us through all the key sites, explaining the known facts and leaves you thinking about what really happened. This includes a trip to Lee Harvey Oswald's boarding house, scene of the murder of officer JD Tippet and the Texas theatre. The tour culminates with a visit to the old book depository, now a museum. We spent a long time there, only leaving because it was 15 mins after closing time. Thanks Preston for a most thorough, fascinating tour.
