The actual tour was great. We had an air-conditioned van, they provided fans and water. We saw great things and it was a very informative tour. We got out of the van a few times to see things closer, too. The tour guide was very interested in his topic and it showed. He just needed to calm down a bit. It was like he tried too hard to get people to like him and it seemed a bit put-on. We had an issue finding a parking place to meet the tour group and were cutting the time close and when we got to the group, I was trying to make sure we were in the right place and not interrupt the guide talking to other guests and looked at his shirt to ensure it had the name of the company. When I finally determined he was with that company and we were in the right place, I was thinking at some point he would acknowledge we were there and try to determine who we were and check us off his list. Instead, he kept talking to another couple, which was fine, but then he addressed the group, still overlooked us, then called out the names of people he was waiting on, at which point I thought it was time to say ā€œWeā€™re right here.ā€ so, again, he could check us off his list, and he held his hand up at me and said wait a minute, Iā€™m trying to get organised and address the group. That was a very bad first impression. Everyone has moments and days and I get that. I do recommend the tour; it was fantastic and we learned a lot.

Kevin was an amazing tour guide. He was Very knowledgeable, gave a well paced presentation and was a good driver. We really enjoyed how he shared one perspective of the assassination and then flipped the story to make another conspiracy theory seem plausible. He shared water on this very hot day and he even incorporated a rest stop. We had a special treat at Oswaldā€™s Rooming House when the owner came out to talk. Highly recommended.
