Visit the simple, concrete memorial to President Kennedy, designed by architect Philip Johnson, which called it "a place of quiet refuge, an enclosed place of thought and contemplation separated from the city around, but near the sky and earth." Finally, make a stop at the historic Texas Movie Theater in Oak Cliff, a beautiful and historic area of downtown Dallas. It gained historical significance on November 22, 1963 as the location of Lee Harvey Oswald´s arrest for the killing of Dallas police officer J.D. Tippit. Today, it hosts a mix of repertory cinema and special events. This 2-hour tour has a participation of maximum 13 travelers

We had an amazing time with Johnny on this tour! Best money we spent our entire trip. Johnny was fun, informative, and compelling to listen to. Our tour guide was Johnny and I loved how passionate he was about the topic. He was extremely informative and interesting to listen to. I finished the tour with a whole new level of understanding and appreciation for this important event in American history; it really makes you think about some things that transpired during those few days! I did this tour in conjunction with the Dallas City Highlights tour, and between the two of them, I felt like I really got some excellent insight into the city.
