Fun Dallas Tours
This two-hour tour takes you into the world of JFK conspiracy, where you may look out over Dealey Plaza where JFK was assassinated.  Theories say that the single-bullet with evidence from the Zapruder film was indicated from the Grassy Knoll that was responsible for Kennedy's fatal head wound. Visit the simple, concrete memorial to President Kennedy, designed by architect Philip Johnson, which called it "a place of quiet refuge, an enclosed place of thought and contemplation separated from the city around, but near the sky and earth." Finally, make a stop at the historic Texas Movie Theater in Oak Cliff, a beautiful and historic area of downtown Dallas. It gained historical significance on November 22, 1963 as the location of Lee Harvey Oswald´s arrest for the killing of Dallas police officer J.D. Tippit. Today, it hosts a mix of repertory cinema and special events. This 2-hour tour has a participation of maximum 13 travelers

Johnny was the best...he said, "in his opinion"..which I considered with my opinion..and came to my own conclusions..which by the way changed from what I thought BEFORE the tour. I have a much better understanding of events.

We took this abbreviated tour because we didn't feel we could do the museum very well due to back problems. We were on the same van with people doing the full tour, which included the museum, so we got all the same information and location visits. Our guide/driver gave us history as well as conspiracy theories. I especially enjoyed going to the boarding house. When we were done I wanted to do some research on all of the conspiracy theories out there. One thing to note is that there is quite a bit of walking/standing on the tour. A little uncomfortable for someone with back problems. When we took a bathroom break I wasn't up to walking across the street so asked our tour guide if we could just stay there under the trees. He was so kind - he made sure the people walking to the bathroom knew where to go and came back to the van and let us sit inside with the A/C running. Very accommodating. I recommend this tour but he aware that although there is "real" history it also includes conspiracy info (which I enjoyed). So if you're looking for "just the facts M'amm" you probably would be better off with another (probably duller) tour.
