JFK Food & Culture Walking Tour with Food Tours of America

Overview
The JFK Tour satisfies history buffs and foodies alike. We’ll eat our way through the West End warehouse district on a full foodie tour with optional cocktails and mocktails. Then, in true Texas style, we’ll mosey on in to a Western Store like no other where you can sip a shot of whiskey at a bar from the 1800s and kick off your souvenir shopping with a complimentary gift card!

The JFK assassination area is truly best explored on foot with a guided walking tour. Stand at the grassy knoll to see the X’s on Elm Street that mark where the two shots that changed history were fired. Consider the various conspiracy theories as you look up at the infamous sniper’s perch window. Reflect in the John F. Kennedy Memorial Plaza, and Dealey Plaza. This tour also features the Old Red Courthouse, iconic Dallas skyline, Margaret Hill Hunt Bridge, and Dallas founder John Neely Bryan’s original log cabin. Please note: 6th Floor Museum is not included.

My wife and I joined 6 others on a lovely weather black Friday tour. Man, what a blast! Our host Ally is funny, smart, and very knowledgeable about the sights and sounds around us. Her facts/stories about the trolley system were very cool. Sooo much food, so don't feel forced to clear your plate like your mother made it, lol. Get the drink package, that makes everything more fun!

Our tour guide was named Justin, he was knowledge, upbeat, and numerous. He also shared lots of unique interesting information about the food we were eating and the part of town we were in. My husband and I are long time residents of Dallas and we learned this we never knew before.

Jim Anderson was an excellent tour guide on our West Village Food Tour Hop on Aug 6th, 2017! He was very knowledgeable and gave interesting facts about the Dallas area. You would have thought he was a Dallas native! I highly recommend this tour! The food was good and a great benefit is that my husband found some Mediterranean food he likes.
