Jimmy Buffett Tour

Overview

You will begin this 1 hour and 30 minute guided tour by meeting your tour guide, (who will be wearing a neon green shirt) at Margaritaville. Musician Jimmy Buffett arrived in Key West 50 years ago in 1971. This walking tour will take you to the locations around Old Key West that inspired his songs, where he played his first gig, some of his favorite watering holes, places he ate, bars he played in, and his recording studio. You will get to eat a slice of the best Key Lime Pie, before visiting the location of the first Margaritaville, Mallory Square, and end at Capt. Tony's Saloon. Included is a souvenir alcoholic beverage.

The Jimmy Buffet tour was fun and very informative! It was a nice walk around town with Caleb who did a great job of telling us all about Jimmy Buffet and the things he did and where he did them with some of his own personal stories and connections sprinkled in. I would recommend this tour if you have any interest in Jimmy as long as you don't have trouble walking a ways with the group. The only negative of the tour was that sometimes it was hard to hear Caleb with the traffic but he did a great job keeping us entertained!

Our tour guide kept us on a good pace for this interesting tour. We enjoyed seeing some places from Jimmy Buffett‘s life in Key West. The things that we learned and saw probably most people don’t see or know how the places were an important part of Jimmy Buffett’s life. We got an excellent piece of Key lime pie at Kermit’s. We enjoyed the tour very much.

It was a super rainy day and the streets flooded. But Caleb made the tour awesome. He was so smart and helpful. He was funny and helpful bringing Umbrellas and rain Ponchos. I am so glad he encouraged us to go in the rain!
