Overview

Just north of Palm Springs lies one of nature's majestic creations, Joshua Tree National Park. In the comfort of an enclosed, climate-controlled vehicle your guide will take you on an extensive all paved road tour through the stunning rock formations and otherworldly landscape of the Mojave Desert.
This activity has a 2 person requirement for the tour to run. If you are a single rider, please call first.
NOTICE: EFFECTIVE JANUARY 1, 2025 ALL JOSHUA TREE TOURS WILL REQUIRE GUESTS TO PAY THEIR OWN $15 ENTRY FEE UPON ENTERING THE PARK. ENTRY FEES WILL NO LONGER BE INCLUDED IN THE BIG WHEEL TOURS PRICING. PLEASE COME PREPARED WITH A FORM OF PAYMENT (CREDIT CARD) TO ACCOMMODATE THIS NEW POLICY. THANK YOU!

Excellent afternoon tour today of Joshua Tree. Ben was an outstanding guide, so knowledgeable and perfect conversationalist. We took our three kids (ages 17, 15, 13). Ben kept everyone engaged and laughing throughout the tour. We drove an hour from Palm Desert to Joshua Tree and learned so much about the history of the valley, the fault lines, the windmills. We got to the park and learned about the plants, the climate, the desert and how the area has transformed over time. Ben was so flexible and we hiked and scrambled on the rocks. I highly recommend this tour and recommend BEN!!!

Amazing tour! Our tour guide Isobel was so knowledgeable, I was blow away with the depth of explanations for every asked question. She did her best to engage everyone and check on the quieter attendees. She was so friendly, took all our photos, and you can see that she loves her time doing these tours. I also want to mention Allie who works at their office - She went out of her way to contact me to make sure I selected the correct tour. I was offline the day before, but she tried all routed (phone, email, voicemails). I truly appreciate this extra effort! Thank you both and Big Wheel Tours for a wonderful experience.
