Seeing some whales and learning more about them. Was a little choppy weather wise but crew did a great job.

The shuttle ride over was on time and convenient from the cruise ship. It was cramped, and the a/c was dripping on our heads, the steep steps weren't handicap friendly. However! The driver was very nice and accommodated us as much as she could under the circumstances. When we got there, the boat was in great shape, brand new, spacious and comfortable. The staff was just fantastic, knowledgeable and funny. Dalton, Jamie and Dale were just so much fun and knew how to make it an intimate experience, and not just spotting those gorgeous whales and getting us super close, but could pick out and name each one we saw and explain some of their characteristics and individual personalities. It was truly a classroom on the water. We saw both orcas and humpback 🐋 whales. Probably a dozen of each. It was a rare sunny and warm day in Juneau in general, let alone for a late September day, and the views were gorgeous and water sparkling. It was the makings of a perfect afternoon in Alaska for photography to boot.
