Going into the mine and hearing about it from a real miner was fantastic. We also learned a lot about mining in an informative and interesting talk. Finished it off with panning for real gold! It was all lots of fun and great memories!

We had a blast on the gold mining tour!! Our guide was phenomenal and explained so much. Everyone was very knowledgeable, patient, and most of all, friendly.

This was a GREAT experience. Very courteous and informative staff. Learned a lot of history about Juneau and how gold mining was an integral part of how it became what it is. Gold panning was a fun experience also! We highly recommend this excursion.
