Thank you to Capt Tom and Sara for a great whale watching excursion. They provided lots of information, a great tour and we really enjoyed it. The boat was clean, everyone was friendly, it was a great day.

Our whale watching adventure with Captain Tom and Katie could not have been any better. They were both friendly, informative and fun. Captain Tom took us a little further north and we were fortunate to find a pod of Orcas that were feeding and moving through the region. We also spotted a couple of humpback whales on our way out and back. The boat was comfortable and well equipped with large windows and powerful engines that allowed us to get out to the prime viewing areas quickly and comfortably. Thanks Captain Tom and Katie. Our only complaint is the we were put on a bus with a group that also included the Mendenhall Glacier and Salmon bake that happened after the whale watching. This was not explained in advance and we had to find our own transportation back to our cruise ship so that it didn’t leave without us. We spent an extra $50 for cab fare to get us back on our boat in time to depart. I really enjoyed the trip but will be hesitant to book a non-cruise ship affiliated side trip again because of the risk of missing the boat.

Michael, Glad to hear you saw whales and found an Orca pod, very exciting stuff! I am sorry about the transportation issue you had. That is not typical. I will research into this and find out what happened. I appreciate you bringing it to my attention. Thank you for taking the time to write this review. I will let Katie and Tom know your kind words. Thanks again, Dale E Smith Director of Sales and Marketing
