It was a rainy day but the captain and the guide cheered us right up. Initially not seeing any whales we happened upon an amazing sight: a pod of orcas of 3-4 adults who appeared to be teaching the 2 young orcas to hunt! They repeatedly surfaced and we were able to watch them for at least half an hour. An exhilarating experience. And then we saw several humpback whales also. I will never forget this experience and recommend this tour highly.

Both Captain Nick and naturalist Libby were knowledgeable and informative. The boat offered easy viewing with oversized windows and a viewing deck. And the high speed motor quickly took us to other locations foe whale watching. We used this tour group on a previous trip to Juneau and we’re pleased to use again.

We saw a lot of mama whales with their babies which was very exciting! Then we took a bus to a beautiful place for a salmon bake where we saw lots of Salmon swimming upstream to spawn! Was the best food in such a beautiful place!
