Great intro to the Ft Lauderdale area beyond the beach. Gives views you can't get otherwise. There is also a very hokey 1950's style stop at an "island" with an alligator wresting show. This was once done by members of local Indian nation but even they won't touch it any longer.

I took the 90 minute cruise on December 28. Not knowing Fort Lauderdale, I opted for this introduction. If you habitually read the real estate section of your newspaper, then this tour is a must. The tour focuses on the Fort Lauderdale elite homes and boats/yachts with an extension into the cruise port. Are the homes and yachts to be envied or aspired to? Some description of Fort Lauderdale City. I would have enjoyed some more info on the personalities supplementing the home with the lifestyle, but one hour and a half is not very long. As another patron commented, the best way to enjoy this is to imagine the cruise is your own yacht and you are out on the river for a few hours. Walking the canals of this Florida Venice does not seem appropriate! So, buy a ticket and use the opportunity for ideas of finishing touches on your dream house.

Fantastic family activity for all ages. Narrator kept it lively, funny and interesting. Walked over to Bo’s after, sat on second floor for great view of the ocean, had a lovely dinner. It all made for a great family day.
