On November 17th, we took a taxi from Port Everglades to the Jungle Queen dock to embark on the 11h00AM cruise. We were on the Allure of the Seas between the 2 legs of our cruise. When we arrived at the ticket counter, we were told that the cruise was fully booked and were put on a waiting list. We were able to get 4 tickets for us and our friends and we were the last persons to embark the Jungle Queen with almost no places to sit. The departure was delayed and were told that there was a small mechanical problem that should be resolved soon . After 20 minutes, they told us that the cruise was cancelled because of the mechanical problem . We had to disembark and stand a long time in line to get a refund . Without any compensation, we had to pay a taxi back to Port Everglades We were very disappointed and were told that it was not the first time that a situation like this happened. If you are in Fort Lauderdale, avoid doing this activity

This was a good tour. The narrator was personable and funny. However, just know that they do not allow access to the top deck. We took the tour on a mid-70's late fall day and it would have been very nice to be able to be on the top deck in the sun.

We really enjoyed the Jungle Queen recommended to all visitors next time we visit we will be back on the Jungle Queen
