I think for the 90 minute sightseeing tour that the price was a touch high, only because there is a large section that is unnarrated. After reading reviews, we chose to sit on the right side of the boat. The guide was heavily right-hand-side keen, but also pointed out things on the left, so it wasn't severely one-sided that you couldn't enjoy it from the left of the boat. The guide had great humour, though we travellers weren't that responsive to it all (50 of us). You get to see some beautiful waterfront properties, and their yachts and onto the cruise ship area. We got the impression that it was much more about the afternoon/evening session which docks at the island more so than the sightseeing tour as its more a tour of posh-houses (as that is what is on the waterways). A pleasant morning activity though.

Thank you for cruising with Jungle Queen on the 90 minute cruise. And, thanks for the 4 star review. We are glad that you enjoyed the narration. Lots of cool facts and funny jokes! Next time try our afternoon tropical isle cruise. It features an alligator show, and you can hold a baby gator and an exotic bird and have your picture taken with them, plus walk around the lush, beautiful tropical island and see many other exotic animals.

Cruising on board Jungle Queen you get the 411 on the houses, who lives where and some cool facts about the history of Ft. Lauderdale. Glad you had a good time. Thank you for cruising with us!

We thought that this tour was worthwhile - how else would you see the houses that abutt the river? It was nice to hear some of the stories of the people. I wouldn't say that it was the highlight of the trip but it is worth doing. We didn't park near the boat - we walked. I think trying to park would be an issue.

Glad you enjoyed the Jungle Queen cruise and are recommending it to others. We use two parking lots. The first is directly across the street. It is a city lot with hundreds of spaces. The cost is a $1.75 per hour. The other is the Bahia Mar Hotel parking lot directly adjacent to our docks. It also has hundreds of spaces. The discounted cost for Jungle Queen guests is a flat rate of $7. This parking information is posted in two places on our website ā€“ under Directions and under Frequently Asked Questions.
