What To Expect

Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse & Museum

Departing from the Hutchinson Island Marriott Marina at 10:30am you will board our vessel the Island Princess for your 4.5 hour journey (round trip) down the Indian River Lagoon to the Jupiter Lighthouse. Your journey includes lunch. A full service bar is on board (cash/credit).

This was a fantastic way to spend the afternoon and exceeded our expectations! Will definitely recommend to friends and neighbors. The ship was very clean with comfortable restrooms on both levels. There was outdoor seating in both sun and shade, as well as enclosed and air-conditioned seating downstairs. The staff were nice and attentive, and even made sure my handicapped daughter felt safe and enjoyed the trip. Even the lunch was very nice and there was a full bar for anyone that wanted a beer or cocktail, as well as soda, tea, and coffee. After lunch we went downstairs into the air-conditioning for the trip back and actually took a catnap! Will definitely recommend to friends and neighbors.

My advice is save your money. They provided a box lunch but failed to give you a drink with it. If you wanted a bottle of water or cup of soda it was $3. When it got too hot on the upper deck we moved to the lower deck. The lower deck was supposed to be air-conditioned but the temperature was 86° but set on 73°. I mentioned it to the bartender and she was aware there was a problem but of course nothing she could do. The boat could use some much needed maintenance and cleaning.

The cruise is a great value and includes a 4.5-hour cruise, narration and lunch. Much like any restaurant, drinks may be purchased from the onboard concession bar. The boat is quite clean and continuously maintained - sorry it was not to your standard and that you were upset you had to pay for drinks. Thanks!

Fun, attentive crew! Great bar service and an excellent box lunch. Convenient, private dock access at Marriott Resort. Interesting historical narration of the river area. As boat owners and lake dwellers this was a fun experience for anyone looking for a nice river ride in the region.
