What To Expect

Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse & Museum

Departing from the Hutchinson Island Marriott Marina at 10:30am you will board our vessel the Island Princess for your 4.5 hour journey (round trip) down the Indian River Lagoon to the Jupiter Lighthouse. Your journey includes lunch. A full service bar is on board (cash/credit).

This is about a 4 hour trip on the river. It departs close to Hutchison Island at the Marriott resort. We pass the gorgeous Jupiter Island. The homes are amazing, and wildlife is abundant. A box lunch is served, and drinks are available. A lovely way to spend the afternoon.

A beautiful way to spend a beautiful day. The Island Princess Jupiter Island Cruise was everything we hoped for, and then some. It was scenic, informative and the homes were spectacular. Jupiter Lighthouse itself is beautiful and a sight to behold. The box lunch was very nice, and the concession prices were reasonable for a vacation/resort area, although $2 for a 16oz bottled water, no matter where I purchase it, is extreme, and annoys me. The reason for only a ‘4’ Rating is this: The directions to the marina are ATROCIOUS!!! We could have been there a half hour before departure, as we allowed ourselves plenty of time to drive down from Fort Pierce. We literally had to run for the boat and made it with seconds to spare. Please, Island Princess, tell your potential customers you are in the MARRIOTT MARINA, again THE MARRIOTT MARINA!!! And, get rid of the automated or computerized tour commentary. It was out of sync, and difficult to follow. Let’s have the Captain do the commentary.

We have spent winters in Stuart for the past 4 years but never taken the lunch cruise. We enjoyed seeing the area from a different vantage point. The box lunch was enjoyable and the captain very informative. We would recommend the tour to visitors to the area as well as those who spend their winters here.
