What To Expect

Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse & Museum

Departing from the Hutchinson Island Marriott Marina at 10:30am you will board our vessel the Island Princess for your 4.5 hour journey (round trip) down the Indian River Lagoon to the Jupiter Lighthouse. Your journey includes lunch. A full service bar is on board (cash/credit).

We were greeted in the parking lot by the Captian of the Island Princess. Explained about the parking which was not a issue. Guided our group to the pavillion and let us know about the boarding procedures. Once on Board we could choose where we wanted to sit. Were also greeted with fresh coffe and danish. Yummy. The tour around Jupiter Island was great 5 star the capitan was very informative and his information was spot on. We are from Michigan and while we were boarding we ran into neighbors from home...small world. Weather was great. Lunch was wonderful and plentiful. Crew was very helpful, I plan on putting this cruise on my to do list every season. Well worth the money.

My wife and I took the Indian River cruise. The trip was enjoyable and informative. The houses on Jupiter Island are incredible. The captain's narrative was entertaining and informative. The lunch that was served was also quite good. Our only negative was that some travelors insist on being rude by talking loudly and drownning out the commentary. We had to find a place away from these inconsiderate people.

We booked the four hour luncheon cruise for $40/person. We felt it was a great bargain. The tour was narrated by the Captain all the way to the Jupiter Lighthouse, but the return trip was on the down low. The trip was just right...informative, funny, lots of nature, and full of beautiful homes. Lunch was actually better than we had anticipated - croissant filled with ham, turkey, and cheese, some fresh fruit, and a cookie. Very fresh and a nice boxed lunch. Drinks were extra, but not unreasonably priced. We saw osprey and their nests, dolphin, a bald eagle, a manatee, and the captain saw a loggerhead turtle. Of course, pelicans escorted us during the entire trip. We had a gorgeous Florida day and this trip was a great way to spend it. We definitely recommend the Island Princess...give it a try, you will enjoy it.
