Kailua Stand Up Paddle Boarding Lesson

Overview
Why lay down when you can stand up? Learn to stand up paddle, or SUP, in Kailua. This ancient water sport has made a major comeback with the help of new board technology, increasing the performance and ease of riding. Stand up paddling combines the thrill of surfing with the techniques of paddling, a match made in heaven. Kailua offers a variety of conditions, from flat water cruising to moderate chop and rolling waves. Lessons generally stick to the calmest areas to practice basic strokes and techniques.

First there are standing and paddling lessons on the waves and windless river, so you can cross the island from the sea without worry, even for the first time. There is no problem if you are not confident in your physical strength and core. perfect guide tomo will take you safely to the island and entertain you. The view is also amazing! The SUP was great fun too!

Natsue and Emi explained everything to us in Japanese, so we were able to depart with peace of mind. I was grateful that the tour included waterproof bag rental. In addition to SUPs, you can also rent cycles and snorkels on the tour, so I recommend it as you can go to Lanikai as well as Kailua.
