At Kaimana Ocean Safari you'll be guided by professionally trained ocean guides, boat captains, and underwater photographers to observe and interact with various wildlife along the Kona coastline. Our vessel only takes 6 people max so you beat the typical tourist trap large vessels for a more intimate experience. We approach our unique tours “safari” style, meaning we cover vast areas of the coastline in search of marine life aboard our vessel. We believe “the search” is part of the fun and allows nature to deliver the adventure. Join us on an incredible journey leaving you with a lifetime of memories! Went out with Kaimana several times, and had a great time! The crew was friendly and enthusiastic, and always on the lookout for interesting wildlife! I particularly appreciated that even on the snorkeling trip, we stopped for a variety of dolphins and whales, rather than just going straight to the snorkel location, it added so much!

Morri and Brenna gave us a great experience! Most importantly, the experience was perfectly safe while our group got to experience something unique and get out of our comfort zone. If you only have one on the Big Island, this will be an amazing time. We swam with a pod of dolphins, manta rays, an eagle ray, and some interesting fish.

We enjoyed the small group setting and the crew was so nice. They really made an effort to show us a lot of marine life. The boat ride was also relaxing even in the deep blue water.
