Andrew, our tour guide, and Lelo, our driver were both fantastic. Very approachable, very knowledgeable. These people know their business. Not constrained to some script, both exhibited wonderful knowledge about the sites and movies we were discussing and other, relevant data, too! Having the movie clips to see before going to the various locations was invaluable. Was particularly amazed at the details Andrew knew about the various movie sets, his ability to sing some of the movie trailer songs, and his total, positive, friendly demeanor. No stupid audience participation games which we really appreciated. We had just seen "The Descendants" so it was particularly interesting to see the various locations up close and personal. This is very worth doing, plus you'll learn details about the island in addition to just the movie stuff.

We have been owners with the Marriott Kauai Beach Club for 25 years and never took the Kauai Movie Tour. What a mistake that was! It all starts with having a great tour guide and driver. Andrew Rice was absolutely phenomenal, as our tour guide. Being raised on Kauai, with his incredible knowledge, made the experience very rewarding! Donna, our driver, handled the driving duties exceptionally well. My wife and I had a wonderful time and would strongly recommend this excursion to movie buffs!

As three women who are movie buffs, we were amazed by the amount of film shot on the island of Kauai. Ray, our driver, was masterful in navigating the roads, the parking lots and the narrow alleys. He is also a skilled weaver who generously shared his gift of bracelets with all of us. Our guide, Andrew, was a wealth of information and trivia as he narrated while sharing video clips and highlights of movies and TV filmed on the island. We appreciated having the long list of movies and the map of film locations. One small suggestion; it would have been helpful to have location stars from the map adjacent to each title for ready reference. We came home and watched "South Pacific" that very night and have been watching others since with grest joy, as we shout, "We saw that, we were there!"
