Andrew and the driver (think his name is Lieona) are the perfect combination. They are particularly adept at welcoming children (we don’t have any, but one couple did). Abdrew is personable, appropriately funny, knowledgeable (but not Cliff Claven-like), has a nice speaking and singing voice, and a offers a good mix of facts and local lore. The genuine love and respect Andrew has for Kauai and her people is evident and further enhanced our tour. I have heard of many of the movies, but haven’t seen most of them, so I enjoyed the video clips. The tour gives a great overview of places we will go back to during the rest of our stay. It would also be a good way to wrap up a visit, but whenever you do it, it’s well worth the time.

Andrew was our guide and he was great. At one point someone was on their phone distracting the tour and he was graceful at nipping it in the bud. I also had double booked and thought I’d have plenty of time. It turns out I didn’t and Andrew addressed it came up with a solution and I got to make my 2nd tour. He’s very knowledgeable and the scenes from Jurassic park were my favorite
