First time surfing, it was a great experience, Kay was very calm and great teacher, I will do it again. Great workout.

I enjoyed the location and the surfing experience itself. Easy to book, get to and check-in. However, our instructor (I believe his name was Mark) was high as a kite in my opinion. He could not say my sons name after repeating it several times and he just not seemed to be really "there". The lesson started 5 min. late and ended 10 minutes early. He did explain the process on dry ground pretty good, but I just felt not comfortable with him in the water (too close to the stones in the water - every one of us 4 got scratched or bumped). Really disappointed as I had read all the great comments before we booked this experience. I assume if you book the private or semi-private lesson, you will get the better instructors.

My 19-year old son and I are totally beginners and had a fantastic experience with Steve Campos. He’s a clear, patient and skilled instructor. Within the first 15 minutes we were catching waves!
