The trip was easy to book, the information ML provided made planning easy, and the entire excursion was really well-organized. The boathouse was really pleasant and food was pretty good, too. The real star of our trip, however, was our guide Ryan. It wasn't just that he had a terrific knowledge base about the area and was an avid storyteller- he seemed to have a real love of the waters, woods, and mountains around Seward. It's rare to find a true outdoors-man with a sense of humor and narrative, but Ryan was definitely one. Book a trip with ML and ask for Ryan as your guide- you won't regret it.

Ryan was an excellent and knowledgeable guide. He knew many facts about the fort, the wildlife, and kayaking. He was great at spotting sea life and had fun stories about his experiences with them.

My friends and I took a tour this tour with Isaac as our guide. We had a great time! Isaac explained how to use the sea kayaks well. This trip is a good distance, about an hour and a half for us each way in and out of Caines Head. Bring water! Isaac was very knowledgeable about the wildlife in the bay, and the history of the fort. He was conversational as well, and we really enjoyed our trip. Got a clear day and great pictures!
