Overview

Combine the history of Black Canyon with the beauty of Emerald Cave on this guided kayak tour. You’ll paddle between 4-6 miles on the Colorado River, enjoying time for photo ops on the crystal clear water, stops to admire the scenery and you’ll also learn a little about the historical sites in the canyon. Make a stop at a small beach for a deli-catered lunch and a swim in the cool waters before making your way back to Willow Beach. You can choose between self-drive to the departure point or a shuttle from select Las Vegas hotels.

Absolutely perfect day, great weather, excellent paddle conditions & beautiful scenery. Burton was an ideal guide, as he was a lifelong local, well versed in geological, environmental, historic development and most entertaining as he shared these as well as lots of information on the wildlife & indigenous plants and peoples! The small group size was excellent, as we got to know the other paddlers during the time on the river as well as a really good lunch. The Emerald Cave was stunning and nearly dwarfed by the sunset vistas as we returned to our launch site! YES. We saw Big Horns

We had an awesome trip with our guide Ryan. He shared a lot of good information about the flora and fauna along with some area history. The local big horn sheep appeared to be hiding from us, so he made a quick stop on the way back where the big horn sheep were likely to be. He clearly enjoys what he does which made our trip even more enjoyable. I highly recommend Evolution Expeditions and Ryan.
