what a great way to see the horses. We were in a tandem kayak, which made me a bit nervous as there is typically disharmony in a tandem. But it worked out well. We got very close to the horses; in fact, this was the closest we got to them during our entire stay. We visited immediately after a hurricane and had another weather event coming in, the explorer was the only tour company still running tours. Would definitely recommend

My family and I had a great morning kayaking tour with Nate this week. We were able to see many birds and a band of ponies. It was really exciting to see the ponies in their natural habitat. Nate was very informative and personable throughout our tour. We really enjoyed it. JH

Yesterday our family did the morning kayak tour then went on the boat and saw all kinds of horses as well as a whole bunch of stuff. We saw lots of birds, some manta rays, and an eagle. I don’t mind going to a new place anymore now that I know how it feels to have discovered such a wonderful place thanks to doing this. We used to enjoy going to the same beach town close to where we live, but now we will be returning to do this again and enjoy the solitude and beauty we saw.

Traveling to see other places is a wonderful thing and we are glad that you chose to come to Chincoteague & Assateague Island! This place is truly a unique place with wild ponies, beach, lighthouse, etc. We know many people fall in love with this place and come visit here every year for years. There is no manta rays here (you probably saw a sting ray), but dolphins are seen everyday now. Besides wild ponies and dolphins, this area also offers a great birding. It's different each time we go out, but we are glad that you got to see a lot of wildlife and had a good time on the tour. Thank you so much for coming and hope to see you again next year!
