Kayak Tour at Shell Key with Capt Yak

This 3 hour guided tour will take you through a vital eco-system known as Shell Key Preserve.
Having conducted field research through out the world and working at various US Zoos for nearly 30 years, Capt Yak has acquired a vast amount of knowledge regarding the animal and plant life you will encounter.
You will paddle with ease on the some of the most comfortable and best paddling Sit-on-top single or tandem kayaks.
We will venture through mangrove tunnels, over beds of seagrasses and sandbars while encountering wildlife. Midway we will stop on Shell Key. You can take a stroll, swim, find that perfect shell or just relax and take in the surroundings.
On the return trip Capt Yak will continue to share his knowledge and you will be mesmerized by the stories he shares with you.
We have multiple departure times daily that vary between 9:00am-3:00pm based on tides and weather.

Very informative and enjoyable. Captain Yak knows the history of the land and peoples and knows the waters around the keys and islands. A very worthwhile excursion for a single, couple or group.

So much fun!! Manatee right under our kayaks, comical birds, and Capt Yak took great care of us. Shell Island was beautiful. Highly recommend for a fun adventure!!
