You will be meeting your guide at West Beach which is located on the beach directly across from the Harbor View Inn Hotel (28 W Cabrillo Blvd, Santa Barbara). You will see our blue rental flags, white equipment shed, and stand up paddle boards and kayaks.
Children ages 5 to 11 years must be in a tandem kayak with an parent or guardian regardless of skill level
All persons must be able to swim
Please remember to bring your swimsuit and towel
Social distancing enforced throughout experience

A relaxing way to enjoy the water for a not so experienced kayaker. This is all despite the unusually big swells. Felt very safe with our experienced guide.

We really enjoyed the tour by Taylor. Nearly all the paddle was inside the harbor, and then a bit of paddle in the open waves to see some Sea Lions. Taylor did a great job giving some local commentary and set a comfortable pace. Our group ages rangedfrom people in their 40-70’s.

We did the 90 minute kayak paddle from Santa Barbara beach. It was excellent- good boat, Amanda was a great guide who went at our pace and had all sorts of lore from growing up locally. The route was through and around the marina and then out to sea for a bit. Terrain was not too wild, but included a raft covered with seals and seal lions, with a baby seal playing balance beam on the anchor rope! Life vests in great shape. Boats very stable so great for beginners. If you're going to paddle in Santa Barbara, these folks have it dialed in.
