You will be meeting your guide at West Beach which is located on the beach directly across from the Harbor View Inn Hotel (28 W Cabrillo Blvd, Santa Barbara). You will see our blue rental flags, white equipment shed, and stand up paddle boards and kayaks.
Children ages 5 to 11 years must be in a tandem kayak with an parent or guardian regardless of skill level
All persons must be able to swim
Please remember to bring your swimsuit and towel
Social distancing enforced throughout experience

The description and pictures in Trip Advisor suggested this would be a real adventure up the coast and even exploring some caves. In reality, it was a tour around the harbor. Emily was nice and very helpful but having a private guide was probably not necessary for this milder tour. She was also initially distracted by a family with little or no kayak or canoe experience who required alot of help. We wandered around on our own while she got them going. Anyway, it was a beautiful day, we met some seals up close, and toured the harbor and saw many nice boats. Very nice!

Thank you for the feedback Brad. Glad to hear that the kayak tour was relaxing and beautiful. The caves that can be explored are 26 miles off the coast of Santa Barbara on the islands and an all day event. We as a company don't do any tours through caves out there. I'm guessing you we're looking at a description from another tour company on Trip Advisor? I've checked our descriptions on Trip Advisor and can't find a mention of caves anywhere. If you do see it please message us as we would definitely want to edit that. That tour would of also be 4 times the cost as well from the companies that do them. Our kayak tours are leisurely tours along the coast of Santa Barbara. Also, we offer private tours at 11am and group tours at 1pm. For anyone that wants just there group going the 11am tour is the way to go as it's the private tour. With the 1pm tour as it is a group tour and others can sign up it may just be you or it can be another couple groups of varying abilities. If anyone in that group is struggling a bit our guides are taught to give them a little more focus just for safety purposes. Apologies it took away from your group a little bit. Hope your family enjoyed Santa Barbara and we added to that. thanks Brad!

We truly enjoyed our kayaking with Kieran. He was super nice and informative of the area. We had all kayaked before so it was relaxing to paddle around the harbor. My kids especially loved kayaking up to the sea lions.

Liam was our guide and gave us a beautiful tour of the harbor, despite the fog. He shared history of the area and accommodated our paddling pace. Would definitely recommend this tour!
