The guides were so friendly and helpful that even though the waves were high we still had a great time. We had an unforgettable time!

We had a great time! We rented a tandem kayak and got to see six caves from the outside, and the guide took us inside the seventh cave. He swam and held on to two kayaks at a time. We recommend you check out this tour! Watch the weather forecast and call to book the date and time that work best for you. We took the 9 am tour and had calm waves and cloudy skies, which was perfect for us! The kayaks are the sit-on-top style. Be prepared to get wet. We brought our own dry bag so we didn’t have to rent a locker.

This tour needs to be renamed. So if you (like me) pictured yourself happily paddling your kayak through seven cool caves...not so much. Spoiler Alert! Much to my surprise and disappointment, you will only see the inside of one cave, Clam cave. And you won't even paddle yourself inside enjoying the cave at your leisure. When you get to the entrance to the cave there will (usually) be a huge bottleneck of other tour company kayakers waiting there turn to go in. The tour guides will dismount their kayaks and then push your kayak in and then spin you around and push you out...so you only spend about 30 seconds in the cave....wahoo! Look closely at the tour picture which is also on the brochure. It shows a happy couple in their double kayak smiling at the camera from inside the cave. What you didn't see readily is the unhappy (because he's freezing) tour guide who is latched on to the back of the kayak and ready to spin them around and go get the next boat. Also, be prepared; The back of the shop where you change into the wetsuit/swimsuits etc. was a madhouse. Picture about 20 people from different tours all trying to get changed/get gear/turn in gear at the same time. Only one bathroom and two changing stalls. The shower (which is in the open) only one shower head worked, and had to have tokens?? constantly put in so you could get some of the sand cleaned off. So all in all it was an OK tour. A good work-out crossing the bay since it's a half mile slog against the wind and current. Staff are hard working and patient, I have to give them kudos for that. The real win....seeing the dolphins, sea lions, pelicans, seabirds and sea life when you are on the water.
