We take great pride in offering amazing clear kayak adventures in the beautiful waters surrounding Clearwater Beach. As experienced Tour Guides, we've worked hard to make sure our tours are anything but run-of-the-mill. We regularly find Dolphins, Manatees, and many other types of wildlife.

Our guides have been trained in CPR, first-aid, and ACA Kayak rescue so you can rest assured you’re guide has the training to have a safe and fun tour.

At Sea Glass Kayaking, we would like to inform everyone that we operate on a reservation-only basis No walkup's are available.

Please note that due to license requirements in the city of Clearwater, Guided rental customers at our 69 Bay Esplanade location are required to launch the kayaks themselves. Our team is available to offer instruction to ensure a successful launch.

What To Expect

Clearwater Beach

When you arrive we'll be waiting to check you in. Once we're done the group will do a quick introduction to break the ice and some basic paddling instructions. We'll get you set up with lifejackets and instruct you on how to launch you're completely clear kayak! From there we'll paddle Clear through Clearwater for about 2.5 hours depending on the abilities of the group. Our guides know the area well since our tour happens in the same place every day so usually well find dolphins, manatees, and other wildlife along the way.

My girlfriend insisted we go on this excursion. The only positive outcome is I proved I was right once again. This was to be a 2,5 hour trip - but was only 1.5 hours of bouncing up and down on the choppy murky bay water. Nothing was CLEAR - except this was CLEARLY a rip off. The kayaks were basically oversized Tupperware bowls that offered you a view of murky green water, You have to share a kayak - no option of individual kayaks, Our guide used a superior Ocean Kayak and not one of these Tupperware pieces of crap. The only wildlife was some Pelicans on a small bird sanctuary where a sign asked "Do NOT disturb the nesting Seabirds" yet our guide insisted it was okay to hop out of the kayak - which we did not. He did, and after the resting Pelicans squawked away pissed off at his intrusion. He said, lets head back since your not having a good time - its cold, wet, windy and miserable. I did not object. We blew back swiftly in 1/2 the time going with and not against the wind. The guide said we could come back on a nicer day and take a free trip. But we never did because I wouldn't take this trip again even for free, Much less the $ 79.00 x 2 + $20. tip to our guide or $200. total. For the same money we did go on this fun Dinner Boat the Calyaspo Queen. Nice cruise, drinks and dinner included. Dancing - a limbo contest - and conga line - fun with other guests on the boat, No work involved.

Tour was amazing, guide was great! We kayaked to bird island and back, 5 of us. Enjoyed the trek very much :) Guide was knowledgeable and offered tips to the few of us with not much experience. Clear kayaks were a nice experience as well.

A nice kayak trip around the bay. We saw many types of water fowl; pretty scenery. Our guide John was very knowledgeable about the area, the history pf clearwater, as well as the flora and fauna, and kept us safe on the water.
