Deception Pass State Park

Deception Pass State Park is Washington's most popular state park. Over one million visitors and residents visit Deception Pass to explore its beautiful trails and scenic beaches, and to walk across the historic Deception Pass Bridge.

Fidalgo Island

Bowman Bay is located on Fidalgo Island and offers a peaceful place for kayakers of all ages and abilities. Just outside the bay participants are treated to expansive views of Fidalgo Island and the rest of the San Juan islands.

My granddaughter and I did the 1.5hr kayak tour from Bowman Bay Boat Launch this afternoon. We had the best time. Jake, our tour guide was helpful, informative and just plain nice. I'm a novice kayaker who is over weight and over 60 with bilateral knee replacements but Jake assured me I would be fine and I was. This was my granddaughter Saffron's first try at kayaking and we had a great time and made life time memories. Thx Jake for making our experience exceptional!
