Kazoobie Kazoos is a small family run manufacturer based in Beaufort, SC. We love kazoos!! We make them, collect them, and love sharing this American made and invented instrument with the World. Our guides will demonstrate kazoos, nose flutes, kazobos, and an assortment of other fun instruments. After an hour at our factory you will know all there is to know about kazoos, and get to build your own! Perfect for kids of all ages.

The history is quite interesting. The variety of kazoo attachments is also of interest. However, I think this is better suited to age 9-10 and up. Younger children really only enjoy having the actual kazoo that they “assemble” at end of tour to entertain everyone on the ride home. “Tour” is a misnomer as, after watching a short video which again has some value, standing in one spot and hearing about the machine that presses the cap and resonator into the molded kazoo and another that prints names or logos on the kazoos one at a time, is a little slow. The entire area is about 400-500 sq feet.

Video and production tour was really interesting. The kids (and adults) enjoyed making their own kazoos and humming along to twinkle twinkle little star. Very friendly staff.

Wonderful and fun time for grandkids and grandparents. Just the right amount of time and information. Tour guide was enthusiastic, talented with a nose flute and led a great kazoos band.
