Mini bus arrived at time of departure which meant we were anxious about missing the trip. Mini bus was far too small and cramped for the number of passengers, and there was an overpowering smell of marijuana inside. The overly cramped space meant that my husband suffered from claustrophobia and had to exit the bus and didn't feel he could continue. However, our guide Shane allowed him to sit in the front with him, otherwise we would have lost the cost of the trip The trip itself was very disappointing as tide was extremely high which meant no bears, the beach for fool's gold was inaccessible. We didn't visit the salmon ladder, so only able to experience a couple of whale sightings and an eagle sitting high in a tree.

On this day. We had 11 people in a 14 passenger van. You tour came back on time.( which means the tour in front of you got their full 2.5 hours) We give back to back tours. So unless you get the 8am tour, you will not get a clean van. Some of our passengers also visited our local legal dispensaries before taken our tour. You got to see whales, seals catching salmon, a beautiful waterfall an the largest tótem pole collection in south east Alaska. An we denied the front seat to a man older the your husband so he could enjoy his trip like everyone else. So you give us a bad review for being on time , accomidating your husband getting to see whales off the shore line. (Closer to us then the whale watching tour boat) a eagle high in a tree an seals eating salmon 2 feet in front of us. But based our tour off the high tide an not seeing a bear. The two things outta our control... thank you for your review. We'll do everything we can to get that tide an them bears under control. For our future guest next year thank you we do appreciate all our reviews

The tour guide Shane, seemed ill prepared and gave very little local knowledge. The tour was due to leave at one o’clock and he arrived at one, which caused significant anxiety and concern, as we thought that we would be left stranded. The bus was too low, necessitating those of us seated in the rear to have to bend almost double to enter and exit our seats. The bus was dirty, smelled of marijuana and cigarettes and was claustrophobic.

The tour before yours is a 10:30 to 1 o'clock so I gave the group before yours their full tour an was on time for yours. We traveled in a 14 passenger van with 11 people. The bus was dirty because it's not the first tour of the day. Our groups are mixed an some of our guest smoke cigarettes an stop at our local legal dispensaries before taking our tours. We do appreciate your review.

We sent you a message the day before your tour, saying we meet in downtown Ketchikan at the Ketchikan visitors bureau. We tried to call several times the morning of your tour. We will wait for late guest as long as there is some form of communication. We send messages the day before your tour to all of our NLC guests who dock 9 miles outside of town. To avoid any confusion. It's very important that you check your messages an read your description of our meeting location. We do appreciate all of our reviews
