This is a 20-minute tour that flies out to the legendary 1,500-ft. Mahoney Falls! Fly over Ketchikan, cruise ships, and the Tongass Narrows. Once at altitude, we fly over the Tongass National Forest (the largest National Forest in USA), Mountain Lakes, and the breathtaking Mahoney Falls waterfall. Eagles, mountain goats, and deer sightings are a possibility on this Ketchikan helicopter tour!

Carrie met us in town and drove us to their location a short drive away. We were met by Chaz, our pilot who went over safety with us before takeoff. Their customer service is excellent! We felt completely safe with Chaz and he went above and beyond our expectations during the tour. We saw whales on our way to Mahoney Lake and Mahoney Falls. Once at the lake we saw Mountain Goats and beautiful waterfalls. He landed on a shore near a lake and we were able to get out and explore in a remote area, which was wonderful and serene. Once back in flight he was able to take us to a mountain top where we saw a mamma bear with 2 cubs. He is careful to not disturb the wildlife in their habitat, while at the same time showing us the beauty of Alaska wilderness. We highly recommend Helicopter Alaska Air and Chaz!!

Met at cruise terminal by the lovely Carrie and after a short ride to the helical had safely drill by super pilot Chaz.Very informative flight and the. Mountain top stopover was spectacular.Scenery was stunning.Whatever your travel company offer you just do this trip
