Travelers should have at least a moderate level of physical fitness
All guests are required to sign an insurance/liability waiver in order to participate
Drivers must be at least 25 years old and are required to show a current driver's license
Minimum age for the tour is 5 years
Children must weigh at least 40 lbs (18 kg) in order to fit into the required life jacket
Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult
Operates in all weather conditions, please dress appropriately
Children 13-17 must have a signed parental consent form to participate in the absence of a parent or guardian

What To Expect

Tongass National Forest

For the Jeep® portion of this safari adventure, you will join up to three other guests, with plenty of opportunities to change drivers for those who want to get behind the wheel! While you traverse the mountain roads of the Tongass National Forest, your guide provides you with interesting and informative commentary using a two-way radio. You'll be fascinated by the area's natural history as you pass through old growth and new growth forests and stop for magnificent views and photo opportunities along the way.

Jeep tour was a super bumpy ride on a trail so dense and narrow you couldn't see a thing.
Canoe portion was so short it was comical. The chowder was great and the guide was very good on the trail hike.

Wonderful adventure! Perfect amount of canoeing, amazing jeep excursion. Our tour guide, Kristina, was especially wonderful, with great passion, thorough knowledge of the area, plants, animals, etc, and a natural gift for sharing her knowledge in a way that was totally engaging and informative, without a hint of patronism. Also amazing energy. She went above and beyond anyone's expectations.
