We had a blast! Doran was an outstanding guide. He was able to frame Lake Harriet Hunt and the Tongass Forest in a wonderful historical and ecological context and do so in an intelligent and entertaining way. We came away with an absolute appreciation for these untouched gems. Would gladly recommend this excursion to any and all!

The history of the totem pole was very interesting. Doran was our guide for the day and I think we could have spent the whole day there with all the stories he had. He was very informative and did a great job. Wish the hike was a little longer, but you can only cram so much in a day.
