We spent a wonderful rainy morning kayaking around the bay and got to see eagles, starfish, seals and even some salmon jumping. Our guide, Abby, was terrific and safety was a top priority. I was impressed with the ease of communication with this company. They provided waterproof gear and skirts for the kayaks that kept us nice and dry.

Just returned from Alaska and this excursion was easily the highlight of those we took. We were lucky enough to have a small group and Abby as our guide. She was knowledgable and tailored the experience on the water for each person. The setting was beautiful and far enough out of town to get a true taste of Ketchikan. We saw eagles, deer and a variety of sea life.

The equipment, facilities and shuttles used were also top notch and the staff was professional. Even if you only have a few hours to spare in Ketchikan, this kayaking trip is more than worth it.

This was a wonderful trip and a big part was the guide-Murph. I was lucky enough to be the only guest on my trip so I had Murph all to myself. He did the heavy part of the kayaking and was so strong and capable. He did everything so that I could experience as much nature as possible. Things like getting close to a few of the islands so he could tell me about the sea life and show me the beautiful purple and orange sea stars, the tiny jellyfish and the limpets, things I wouldn't have noticed or gotten close enough to see on my own. We also were treated to eagles flying overhead, sea lions barking in the sound and a trio of seals frolicking in front of us.

The scenery was beautiful, the raingear kept me dry and I felt safe at all times. Do yourself a favor and take this expedition!
