What To Expect

Southeast Exposure Outdoor Adventure Center

Your adventure starts with a van ride to the north end of Ketchikan to beautiful Clover Pass. You will be welcomed and led down to our waterfront facility and introduced to your tandem kayak and get a safety briefing from your guide.

Tongass National Forest

You'll quickly gain confidence as you paddle to Eagle Island. The protected waters of Clover Pass provide us with the opportunity to really enjoy the tranquil setting of the Tongass National Forest.

Clementine was amazing! Such an awesome kayak guide. We knew what to do and when. She gave great on dock instructions and made sure we got safely in and out of the kayak. She was very knowledgeable about the area. She pointed out bald eagles, an eagle nest, starfish, and other nature in the area. Her bright and cheery attitude made the trip one to remember!

Keenan was awesome! Very knowledgeable and lots of fun! We saw eagles diving for fish and Keenan picked up a starfish to show us. Beautiful weather today too! Define recommend! 5 stars!!!

The kayaking trip was so fun and Keenan was great! We got to see seals and bald eagles fishing for lunch! Kayaking was a unique way to see Ketchikan and other small islands!
