A 45-minute voyage out to the reef gives you time to relax on our sun deck and sip a tropical cocktail or beverage from our full-service snack bar. If you prefer, you can ride in the comfort of our climate-controlled cabin.

What To Expect

Florida Keys

From our sun deck, you will have a panoramic offshore view of the Florida Keys and can view the ever-changing colors of the Atlantic Ocean. Once we reach the reef, you will be able to observe the coral reef through our large viewing windows, which are large enough for everyone to observe the reef at the same time and are located along the center of the boat and installed flat so there is no distortion other than what nature creates. Everything you see on our tour is or was alive and the reef itself is built off of many varieties of living coral and teems with an assortment of sea life. Your tour guide will be able to point out all kinds of sea creatures which may include sea fans, sea plumes and hundreds of fish ranging from small tropical to larger species sought after by local fishermen.

We decided to do the glass bottom sunset trip for my daughters 18th birthday and we were not disappointed. Crew were great, very friendly and knowledgeable about the reef. Had plenty of space to see the reef thru the glass bottom as it was mostly adults and teens that went on this trip. Lightening off to the side of us was very pretty to watch. Did not see any turtles, dolphins or sharks but did spot several different fish on the reef. Would have liked to stayed on the reef longer as it seemed to be a long ride out for a short time. Water colors were beautiful! Sunset was awesome!!! Would definitely do again! Trip was cheaper than the same type of boats at Key West as drinks were not included but could be purchased. We preferred it this way. All in all great memories made on a special occasion thank you!!!

My family needed a day trip to relax, we have been on a glass bottom boat many times, just going for a ride no major expectations. The crew was very nice and our 7 pound well behaved poodle joined us.

We all really enjoyed the trip on the Key Largo Princess. Sailing out through the Key past all the huge, expensive houses was interesting & mind blowing! Some of them are stunning 🙂 It was a 45 min trip out to the reef, a 30min bob over the reef looking through the glass bottom then a 45min trip back. The staff were very knowledgeable & explained all about the various fish & the problems the reef faces. We saw lots of fish, mainly small plus a few other larger ones but not loads. A small turtle swam under the boat which was exciting. We saw another 5 turtles off the side of the boat. We had a Miami Go card so this trip was included in the benefits, it was definitely worth going.
