If you are going to take this trip, here is the scoop. First, make sure you are in your bathing suit before you get to the marina… there is not a “Fury” facility to change clothes in (you can try a local restaurant bathroom I guess, but not so convenient). Next, make sure you eat before you go. Lots of water, soft drinks and beer and wine provided, but no food unless you bring snacks. When you get to the marina you need to check into the Fury Kiosk to get your passes to get on the boat, and the wait at the monument. Ok, now for the actual trip: the guides were great … very attentive, educational, felt safe with them the whole time. We first went to find dolphins. It did take a little while, but sure enough, there were several surfacing all around us. Kids LOVED this. The boats did not crowd or chase the dolphins. Ok, now on to the snorkeling. They pushed wet suits saying tye the water was 70F. I will tell you it was about 85-90F that day, and when I got it, the water was cool but not uncomfortable at all without a wetsuit… in fact it felt great. So if you are there in March, save your money… you don’t need a wetsuit. Next, the place they brought us was seemingly devoid of fish. WTF? Turns out they were all hiding under the boats to get some shade (remember I said it was hot?). We did also see a stingray which was pretty cool. But it was a far cry from what I was expecting…after snorkeling in Hawaii and Cancun and seeing tons of fish and sea turtles, this was a pretty big let down. But the boat ride itself was awesome, and we saw even more dolphins on the way back, so we had a good day overall. I can’t recommend for the snorkeling though. It was nice a calm waters and shallow, so good for folks that might be afraid in deeper waters.

This was fun! They provide drinks both alcoholic and non-alcoholic. The guides were knowledgeable and engaging. They provided a quick tutorial on snorkeling and we saw several dolphins.

Fabulous trip. The all girl crew was fantastic. The dolphins seemed to enjoy our visit …and the snorkel folks all seemed to enjoy their swim. GREAT time….you need to go!
