Our experience on and off the kyacks was exceptional. Your courteous and helpful staff made the trip to this beautiful area even better. While kayaking on our own through mangrove trees, we saw plenty of wildlife: crab, starfish, and nurse sharks, to name a few!

I think the eco tour is the way to go especially if you get tripped up easily on directions. We got a little list in the mangroves even with a map. No markers anywhere do a your guide is helpful. The ladies are really nice that work here and we still got to see a shark, manatee and a bunch of really cool jellyfish!

The Lazy Dog Adventure staff was very friendly and accommodating. We arrived on time for our 11pm half day kayak rental (meaning we’d have up to 3pm to return), but one of our party members was 30 minutes late because he was getting sandwiches for us to eat lunch out in the water. The staff told us it was fine and even said we can be out until around 4:30pm so it felt like we lost no time :). The routes were explained very clearly and we were given a laminated map for us to keep during the trip. The actual kayaking paths were really engaging too! The mangroves next to the canal were really fun to navigate through. We had a high tide that day, so lots of ducking under trees and tight passageways. Highly recommend anyone interested in exploring the mangroves to book with Lazy Dog.
